If your business is based on EMDs/PMDs, maybe this will be useful Sep 11th 2012, 18:11 HTML Code: http://www.seomoz.org/blog/are-exact-match-domains-in-decline It looks like ranking for EMDs and PMDs (partial match domains, ie. bluewidgetdeals.com) suffered a decline. It's no news for me, I've seen a lot of PMDs domain of mine wiped out from the SERP after the Penguin (I think it has to do with overoptimized anchor texts, btw). What's your experience with EMDs/PMDs after the Penguin Update? Did your Adsense/Affiliate site suffer a decline (and how did you handle it)?
